They are leaving, back to Wisconsin, today. But despite the weather, we had to make it to the beach just once while they were here. Monday there was a break in the clouds so she and I, the dogs and the girlies decided to take a walk on the beach.
These girls are so smart and pretty, creative and strong. So much that it makes me consider arranging marriages with two of my boys.
The morning was spent digging in the sand, making drip castles, shell hunting and slow, lazy walking.
Heaven.
And if that wasn't enough beauty for one morning, right before we left, we were treated to a dolphin show. There were no less than about 15 dolphins feeding right off the coast. No matter how many times I see them, I'm still amazed at their grace and power.
And my friend...Christine. She is one of the most lovely...and loving...people you will ever to meet. She exudes grace and peace and makes you want whatever it is she has. I feel blessed to have spent such good time with her and her beautiful family.
Hi. Such beautiful photos...all over your blog. And the words are beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog via a mutual friend, Jennifer, over at JCHandmade.
